Kavita Bhat, MD, MPH, CPHQ serves as Senior Program Manager for Funded Partnerships at the American Hospital Association’s Health Research and Education Trust. She leads the AHA’s Living Learning Network, a peer-to-peer community of more than 2,000 health care professionals nationwide, where she designs and oversees collaborative programs that advance performance improvement and patient safety. Her work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for hospitals and health systems to share knowledge, accelerate innovation, and implement measurable improvements in care.

 Most recently, she has directed national initiatives including a 7-month CDC-supported sepsis leadership collaborative with over 300 members and a Quality Exchange initiative involving more than 200 members. With deep expertise in fostering cross-institutional collaboration, she guides programs from design through implementation, ensuring they generate sustainable impact and lasting engagement.
