Khurshid Ghani, M B ChB, MS, FRCS, is a Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of Michigan. After graduating from the University of Leeds, he completed surgical training in the UK and a fellowship in robotic surgery at the Vattikuti Urology Institute, Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
An internationally recognized expert in endoscopic stone surgery, Dr. Ghani has authored over 250 peer-reviewed articles and pioneered the Dusting technique for ureteroscopy. He directs the D.U.S.T. symposium and the AUA’s “Dust or Bust” course. He also serves as Director of the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC), where he leads quality improvement efforts across 50 urology practices in Michigan and throughout the country. He is a principal investigator for numerous clinical trials focused on ureteroscopy outcomes. He is also an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Urology.
