Dr. Duseja is an emergency medicine physician and prior to coming to CMS, was an Associate Professor at the University of California, where she led quality improvement activities in a large county hospital and was awarded funding by NIH to conduct studies related to improving patient care and value for the health system. As a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, her research focused on quality of care and unintended consequences of measurement. She received her MS in Health Economics at Wharton, Heath Care Management and Economics, at the University of Pennsylvania.
