Kristen Clark, DVM, MPH, DACVPM, CCRT, holds her DVM from Iowa State University, her MPH from the University of Minnesota, and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. In addition to working in private veterinary practice, she served as an epidemiologist with the Iowa Department of Public Health. She then served in several leadership roles at Iowa State University, including most recently as the University’s Public Health Coordinator where she oversaw campus public health operations. In 2023, she joined the Minnesota Department of Health as the Director of the Minnesota One Health Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative (MOHASC). MOHASC is made up of leaders in human, animal, and environmental health who work together to promote judicious antibiotic use and stewardship to reduce the impact of antibiotic-resistant pathogens across the One Health spectrum.
